Let's Do Ministry Together! ministries
We are workers, not master builders, ministers, not messiahs. We are prophets of a future not our own.

FATHER JOHN JUDIE MINISTRIES, INC. was founded on April 3, 1995 as a means of providing humanitarian assistance to people, especially those in the economically underdeveloped areas of the world.
The initial efforts of the “ministries” organization began with establishing a sponsorship program which provides financial support for students (particularly, seminarians) who
have no opportunity or financial resources for further education in their present circumstances in life. The organization has collected funds to provide food, clothing,
medical supplies and clean drinking water in areas where such things barely exist. Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. The work of Fr. John Judie Ministries over the years has focused on specific needs in the areas of education, health care and basic humanitarian concerns in East Africa.
The “ministries” has also helped to make available (in these same areas) medical and dental services provided by other health professionals from the western world.
Some years ago, the ministries was asked to develop a formal working relationship between the Ministry of Health in the United Republic of Tanzania and the Louisville Metro Public Health System. A marked expansion of the “ministries” work has been the ongoing education of the general public in America re: life in Africa, striving to foster a greater understanding and appreciation for other cultures in our world today.
The “ministries” organization operates in four countries in East Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Rwanda. As of Year 2023, there are currently five Jr. seminaries in Tanzania that have students receiving sponsorship assistance. Financial assistance is
also provided for individuals (not seeking formation for religious life) who need the
opportunity for further education and future employment. Throughout these years of operation, the “ministries” has also provided assistance and support for both clergy and lay to help meet their personal and professional needs.
Fr. John Judie Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit making charitable organization which has been granted the 501-C (3) tax-exempt status. Thus, all donations received are tax deductible. We have consistently grown and operated over the years, thanks to the caring and generous support of our amazing donors!
